Stewart - Phoebe Morris

Mrs. Phoebe Stewart, wife of William H. Stewart, was born in Dearborn County, Ind., Dec. 7, 1825, and spent her early life there, and in September, 1832, she moved to Montgomery County, where she was married on Nov. 21, 1847, to W. H. Stewart and resided on a farm west of town until in recent years when they removed to their present home in New Ross, where she died Aug. 25, 1896, of hemorrhage of the bowels.
